We encourage the active participation in and funding of existing programs, rescues and sanctuaries for the management and conservation of sea turtles and their habitat in the Caribbean.
We strive to heighten public awareness of the sea turtles in the Caribbean through social media, networking, marketing and fundraising to support these programs. The more we know the more we can do for these Endangered Species.
We support individual program needs, encourage volunteer outreach experiences and network between our local partners in the management and conservation of sea turtles.
A New York Native, Albert has been drawn to his Caribbean roots since an early age. Travel has always been an important part of his adult life and finding a way to combine the two led him to the magnificent Sea Turtles that call the Caribbean their home.
With more than 35 years of corporate marketing and program development experiences he has decided to put his knowledge to work for Turtles of the Caribbean.
After multiple working vacations that included full nesting cycles of Green and Loggerhead turtles he decided more needed to be done.
Visiting and volunteering with different islands, donating time and learning that so much more needs to be done prompted the creation of Turtles of the Caribbean.
His travels have included Trinidad, Cuba, St Kitts, Aruba, Puerto Rico, Barbados and Mexico in the Caribbean. He has also travelled to Hawaii, Columbia, Venezuela, Argentina and plans to travel to join the International Sea Turtle Symposium in Cartegena, Columbia in 2020.
